Note on Homework.  Some assignments in this class will use a web-based homework system called WebWork.

The login link is https://webwork.math.uga.edu/webwork2/MATH3000_Azoff/.  Your username is set to your UGA MyID.  Your WW password is your new 810 student number including dashes, e.g., 810-00-0000.  This means leaving off the last digit and repositioning the final dash as the number is exhibited on your card.  Your UGA password is not involved.

Until a WebWork assignment is due, you can try the problems as many times as you like, and the system will tell you whether you have the right answer.  This lets you correct your work immediately.  Shortly after an assignment is due, answers will be posted.  You are welcome to work together on WebWork problems, but each student's problems will be slightly different, so copying others' answers will not work.

Most assignments will involve both pencil and paper problems and WebWork problems.  The WebWork portion of an assignment will be made visible on the due date of the previous assignment. WebWork problems are usually more.computational than assigned pencil and paper problems and hence should be completed first.  Assignments are due at 9:05 (the beginning of class) on the dates listed.

A combination of the hour test study guides was posted at http://www.math.uga.edu/~azoff/courses/3000guide.html.

Some of the class discussion problems were emphasized with bold font.  These could be used to help study for the final and could be
brought up in the study sessions.  Comments on problems from Section 3.2 are available online at http://www.math.uga.edu/~azoff/courses/3000notes.pdf.

An electronic version of Schaum's Linear Algebra Outline is available via the library's website.  To access it, go to the Gil website, do a keyword search using the phrases  "Schaum's" and "linear algebra", and click on "Linked resource" near the bottom of the record.

Note on Homework.  Some assignments in this class will use a web-based homework system called WebWork to be set up after the first week of class.

The login link is https://webwork.math.uga.edu/webwork2/MATH3000_Azoff/.  Your username and your initial password are both set to your UGA MyID; your UGA password is not involved.

The first assignment below does not involve webwork and is to be completed with pencil and paper in the usual way.
