This course is an introduction to analysis on manifolds in Euclidean
space. The main topics to be covered are the derivative as a
linear map, inverse and implicit function theorems,
change of variables in multiple integrals, manifolds, differential
forms, and the generalized Stokes' Theorem.

Exams and Homework: Homework
will be assigned weekly. There will be two midterm exams and a
final exam.
Exams are tentatively scheduled for Friday, February 15 and Friday,
April 4.
The final exam takes place in room 303 Boyd, on Friday,
May 12, from noon to 3 pm.

Grading policy:
homework 25%, midterm exams 20% each, final exam 35%.
A=excellent, B=good, C=satisfactory, D=marginal
pass, F=Fail
