Due Friday, Oct 1: Read section 4.6 and do the practice problems. Hand in: problems 1 and 4 on page 140 and problem 1 on page 154.

Due Wednesday, Oct 6: Read section 5.1 and do the practice problems. Do (to be handed in on Friday): problem 3on page 165.

Due Friday, Oct 8: Read sections 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4 and do the practice problems. Hand in: problems 3c and 11 on pages 154, 155, problem 3 on page 165.
