Week 5: Monday's office hour moved to 1:20 - 2:20 pm. Tuesday's office hour moved to 11 am.

Due Tuesday, September 20: Read section 4.5 and do the practice problems. To be handed in on Thursday: problems 10 and 11 on page 141.

Due Thursday, September 22: Read section 4.3 and 4.4 and do the practice problems. Hand in: problems 10 and 11 on page 141 and problem 1 on page 129.

Week 6:

Due Tuesday, September 27: Study for the test on Thursday. Bring questions to class (as well as to office hours). We will spend some time in class going over your questions.

Due Thursday, September 29: TEST The test will cover sections 2.2 - 2.5, chapter 3, and sections 4.3 - 4.5, and section 4.6 very lightly. Test problems will be similar to practice problems, homework problems, and class activity problems that were assigned or done in class.
