Week 3:

Due Tuesday, January 25: Read the rest of section 8.2 and do the rest of the practice problems. Check the answers to the practice problems. Hand in: problems 2 and 6 (a - e) on pages 340, 342 - 343.

Due Thursday, January 27: Read section 8.3, do the practice problems, and check their answers.

Week 4:

Monday, January 31: no office hours due to a meeting.

Due Tuesday, February 1: Quiz on sections 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3. Quiz problems will be similar to the practice problems, class activity problems, and "hand in" problems from these sections.

Due Thursday, February 3: Read section 8.4 and do the practice problems. To be handed in next Tuesday: problem 7 on page 356.
