Week 5:

Due Tuesday, Feb 8: Read sections 8.5 and 8.6 and do the practice problems. Hand in: problem 7 on page 356, problems 2 and 4 on pages 364, 365.

Due Thursday, Feb 10: Read section 8.7 and do the practice problems. Also do, but don't hand in: problems 5 and 6 on page 381.

Week 6:

Due Tuesday, Feb 15: Do, but don't hand in: problem 12 on page 382.

Thursday, Feb 17: TEST on chapter 8. Test problems will be similar to problems from the homework ("don't hand in" and "hand in") and class activities.
