Due Thursday, October 19: Read section 5.8 and do the practice problems. Do but don't hand in: problems 7, 8, 10, 18 on pages 196, 197 and problem 2 on page 205.

Week 10:

Due Tuesday, October 24 : Do but don't hand in: problems 3 and 5 on pages 205, 206. Hand in: problems 5 and 14 on page 196, problem 4 on page 205.
