Week 13:

Due Monday, November 13: Read the rest of section 12.6 and do the rest of the practice problems.

Due Wednesday, November 15: Hand in: problem 3a on page 580, problems 13 and 14 on page 581, and the following: Show how to interpret the decimal 0.454545... (where the 45 repeats) as a geometric series and explain how to use reasoning like the reasoning we used about summing geometric series to find a fraction that is equal to this decimal.

Due Friday, November 17: In-class and take-home problem set to be worked on in class and turned in Monday. This problem set will count as a QUIZ score.

Week 14:

Due Monday, November 20: Hand in: problem set handed out on Friday that counts as a quiz score.

Wednesday, November 22: Thanksgiving break

Friday, November 24: Thanksgiving break
