Week 15:
Due Monday, April 24: Read section 14.3 and do the practice problems. Hand in: problems 1, 4, 7, 9, and 10 on pages 668, 669. If you haven't already, please fill out the online course evaluation at http://eval.franklin.uga.edu The math department (and I!) value your feedback. The process is anonymous and must be completed before midnight on reading day (May 2). Instructors will not receive results until after all grades are in (May 12).
Due Wednesday, April 26: Read sections 14.4 and 15.1 and do the practice problems.
Week 16:
Due Monday, May 1: Study for the comprehensive final exam and bring questions to class. Final exam questions will be similar to class activity problems, practice problems, homework problems, and quiz and test problems. Expect some questions on the final exam that are *not* just like quiz and test problems and some that are. The final exam covers: sections 7.4 - 7.6 (including the material in the revised section 7.6 on ratio tables, strip diagrams, and double number lines; see weeks 3, 4); addition and subtraction story problems (see weeks 7, 8); chapter 13, sections 13.1 - 13.3 and 13.5 only; chapter 12, excluding section 12.6; chapter 14; and section 15.1.
Tuesday, May 2: reading day
Final exam: 8 -11 am, Wednesday, May 3, in our usual classroom.
