Week 7:

Due Monday, February 20: TEST on the material in sections 7.4 - 7.6 (including the material in the revised section 7.6 on ratio tables, strip diagrams, and double number lines; see weeks 3, 4) and section 13.1. The test will consist of problems that are similar to assigned practice problems, homework problems, and class activity problems.

Due Wednesday, February 22: nothing due

Week 8:

Office hours on Monday, February 27 are cancelled due to a meeting.

Due Monday, February 27: Read section 13.2 and do the practice problems. Hand in: problems 6, 11, and 26 on pages 606 - 608. Also: write a "compare" story problem for 15 - 8 = ? and write a "part- part- whole" story problem for 8 + ? = 15.

Due Wednesday, March 1: (Note that there are some problems posted due Monday if you want to work ahead.)
