Week 15:

Due Tuesday, November 28 : Read section 7.4 to page 327 and do practice problems 1, 3, 7, 8.

Due Thursday, November 30 : Read the rest of section 7.4 and do the rest of the practice problems. Hand in: (typed, as usual, except for pictures/equations etc.): Problems 8, 13, 19, and 23 b on pages 340 - 342.

Week 16:

Tuesday, December 4 : no class since this day has a Friday schedule

Due Thursday, December 6: Review all course material for the comprehensive final exam. Take this opportunity to pull the ideas together in your own mind and to polish ways of discussing and explaining the mathematical ideas we have studied. Bring questions and things you want to discuss to class.

Friday, December 7 : reading day
