Week 13:

Due Monday, April 7 : Do but don't hand in problems 2 and 3 on page 623. Read section 11.8 and do the practice problems.

Due Wednesday, April 9 : Hand in (please type your answers, except for pictures, equations, etc.): Problem 11 on page 617, problem 14 a, b, c, on pages 618, 619, and problem 8 on page 627.

No office hours this Thursday since I will be in Salt Lake City. I'll be glad to meet with you another time, please make an appointment.

Due Friday, April 11 : TEST (date fixed) on chapter 10 and chapter 11, sections 1 - 7 only. It may help you to read the chapter summary and study items at the end of these chapters. I won't ask questions like the ones handed in on Wednesday (however, do expect cone problems like those done in class or for the homework due April 2).

Week 14:

Due Monday, April 14 : Read section 11.10 and do the practice problems. If you are doing the extra credit problem mentioned in class it is due by today.

Due Wednesday, April 16 : Do but don't hand in: write a summary of the reasoning we used to determine the volume formula for spheres. Due Friday, April 18 : Read section 11.11 and do the practice problems.
