Week 3:

Monday, January 21: MLK day, no class

Due Wednesday, January 23: Hand in (please type your answers, except for pictures, equations, etc.): Problem 5 a, b, c, d on pages 413, 414 and problems 4 and 5 on the angle problems handout (from Friday).

No office hours this Thursday since I will be in Tulsa, OK.

Due Friday, January 25: QUIZ on sections 8.1 and 8.2, except not including problems of the type handed in on Wednesday. Read section 8.3 and do the practice problems and read section 8.4 through page 426 and do practice problems 1 - 4.

Week 4:

Due Monday, January 28 :

Due Wednesday, January 30 : Do practice problems 2 and 3 of section 8.4. Read section 9.3. Hand in (please type your answers, except for pictures, equations, etc.): Problem 3 on page 423, problem 6 on page 434, and problem 12 on page 436 and problem 1 on page 491.

Due Friday, February 1: Do all the practice problems of section 9.3 and check your answers.
