Due Monday, Feb 18:

Due Wednesday, Feb 20 : Do but don't hand in: problems 14 a, b, and 16 a,b on pages 512 - 513 and class activity 9U on page 340 of the activity manual. Hand in (please type your answers, except for pictures, equations, etc.): Problem 15 a, b on pages 512 - 513.

Due Friday, Feb 22 :

Week 8:

Due Monday, Feb 25 : TEST on chapter 8, sections 8.1 - 8.4 and also angle problems such as the "Sudoku" problems from the Jan 23 handout and the additional compass and straightedge constructions discussed in class; congruence and similarity: sections 9.3, 9.4, including using congruence criteria to explain why constructions work. Expect problems that ask you to describe and explain methods in addition to problems that are similar to class activity problems and homework problems ("don't hand in" as well as "hand in" problems).

Due Wednesday, Feb 27 : Read sections 10.1 and 10.2 and do (but don't hand in) the practice problems in those sections.

Due Friday, Feb 29 : Read sections 10.3 and 10.4 and do (but don't hand in the practice problems in those sections. Hand in (please type your answers, except for pictures, equations, etc.): Problem 6 a, b on page 539. Please note: it is a standing requirement in this course to explain all answers unless there are explicit instructions not to!
