This symbol is a combination of a Japanese character, pronounced kaze, and the letter z. The combination is, in my opinion, pronounced Kazez. The word kaze in Japanese means wind or style. It is part of the word kamikaze "God-wind" or "divine-wind". I quote,

| Japanese characters come from Chinese. I believe this same character is pronounced fu in Chinese. It is still related to "wind", as in Tai Fu, or typhoon, but combining fu and z has very little to do with my name.
