This symbol is a combination of a Japanese character, pronounced kaze, and the letter z. The combination is, in my opinion, pronounced Kazez.

The word kaze in Japanese means wind or style. It is part of the word kamikaze "God-wind" or "divine-wind". I quote,

Japanese artists are fond of the single character kaze, "wind." The most famous work of art by the celebrated Mingei artist and "Human Natural Treasure" Serizawa Keisuke was a stencil-dyed print of the character for "wind." This is Gempo's hand brushed "wind." It can mean "fresh breeze," "nature's beauty," "style," even "the flow of time."

  Japanese characters come from Chinese. I believe this same character is pronounced fu in Chinese. It is still related to "wind", as in Tai Fu, or typhoon, but combining fu and z has very little to do with my name. If you know of a foreign language, particularly with an exotic alphabet, in which "Kazez" sounds like a real word, let me know.
