Grading: The grading scale is : A: 93 ¨C 100, A-: 90-92 B+: 87 ¨C 89, B: 83-86, B-:
80-82, C+: 77 ¨C 79, C: 73-76, C-: 70-72, D: 60 ¨C 69, F: 59 and below.

- Tests (60%): You must
register for a time to take each of the following tests. A few days prior
to the test date, go to the course website,
choose Test Registration. On test date, you will go and take your tests on
the time that you have registered, but you also need to go to your regular
class if that is a class date.
- Final Exam (25%): Fri, Dec 8,
Mon, Dec 11 - Thu, Dec 14 (signup on the web Nov 13-17)
- Quizzes (10%): Class quizzes
will be given throughout each unit. No makeup quizzes are allowed. At the
end of the semester approximately 25% of the quiz grades will be
dropped.

Withdrawals
- Students may be withdrawn
from the class after missing more than 5 classes. If I initiate the
withdrawal without your knowledge I will assign a grade of WF; if you
initiate the withdrawal before the withdrawal deadline, I will assign a
grade of W. Any withdrawal after the withdrawal deadline,
will result in a grade of WF.
