To switch between two sections of Math 1113 after
drop-add, you must first find an instructor who is willing to take
you into her/his class. You should then obtain a change-of-section
form from the Registrar. This form needs to be signed by both your
former instructor and your new instructor. The form then needs to be
signed by the Head of the Mathematics Department (Room 452 - Boyd
GSRC). The deadline for
switching sections is February
6.
This includes switching from a
regular section into an intensive section. When you switch sections,
you may end up in a different testing group so be sure to ask your
new instructor which testing group you are in. This information is

syllabus.
The deadline for withdrawing from
the course with a W is March
1. If you withdraw on or
before this date, whether you receive a W or WF is up to your
individual instructor. Even though you can initiate a withdrawal on
OASIS, you should first check with your instructor to determine what
grade you will receive if you withdraw.
All tests will be taken in one of the computer labs - Boyd 324 or 308. You must have a photo ID with you when you come to take a test. Your photo ID will be collected when you enter the lab and returned when you leave. All cell phones must be turned off. All personal belongings must be placed in the bins. A built-in calculator is provided on all tests except for the Skills Test. You may bring in your own TI-30 calculator if you wish. This is the only calculator permitted. Calculators will be checked when you enter the lab. Do not have cards or sheets with formulas with your calculator.
