MATH 1113 - GRADING POLICY

Grading Guidelines:

Test 1-5 (75 minutes per test): 12% per test (60% Total)

In-class work (quizzes, presentations, online homework, etc) : 10%

Online WebQuizzes: 5%

Final exam (2.75 hours allotted): 25%

If your final exam score is higher than your lowest test (Test 1-5) score, then the lowest test score will be replaced with the final exam score. This is only available to students in good standing.

Attendance Policy:

Students are allowed no more than 3 unexcused absences. On the fourth unexcused absence, a student may be withdrawn from the course with a grade of WP or WF (definitely WF after midpoint). Do not regard these 3 allowed absences as "personal free days". These are only to be used in cases of personal or family emergencies. In some cases, verification may be required.
