Go about 15 miles to interstate 20, and take it east, toward Augusta. Go about 15 miles and take exit 82 (route 138 east) at Conyers. (Get into the left lane of exit 82 and turn left onto route 138.) In about 20 miles route 138 joins route 78 at Monroe. Take route 78 for about 20 miles to Athens. Just outside of Athens turn right onto route 316 into Athens. Take 316 about 7 miles to Loop 10. Exit right onto Loop 10, and take it about 6 miles to the College Station Road exit. Go left on College Station Road a half mile to East Campus Road. Turn right onto East Campus road. At the first light, turn left on Carlton Street. In several blocks, just past the futuristic coliseum on the left, turn right on Sanford Drive. Go a block and park in the parking garage on the left. (The Georgia Center Hotel is next to the parking garage, at the corner of Carlton Street and Lumpkin Street.) The Mathematics Department is a block from the parking garage. Walk farther along Sanford Drive a short block to Soule Street. The department is in the Boyd Graduate Studies Building, at the end of Soule Street on the left.
