Position: Director, System Development and Reporting, Film Management

Job description: Advise and manage all report development, technical support, process automation, and technical project management needs within the Film Management group. Lead a team that is developing technology and reporting solutions for over $12 billion in film assets. Specific responsibilities include developing relationships with senior level Finance & Operations customers, designing visionary and strategic goals and overseeing their implementation, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities, developing staff, delegating projects and tasks and overseeing the timeliness and accuracy of completion, managing strategic projects, and representing the department at management-level meetings and on cross-divisional teams.

Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000

Employment history: After graduating from UGA in 1991, I began work at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as a business analyst. (Dr. Hollingsworth at UGA connected me with an EDS recruiter when I graduated -- at the time, EDS was actively looking for mathematics majors and people with similar "analytical" skills.) I worked at EDS for 5 years. I took a position at Turner Broadcasting in 1997 and have been here ever since.
