Type "Mathematics: Ball Fund  [Fund #40S5160]" for the B.J. Ball Fund. This fund was named in honor of Prof. B.J. Ball, longtime colleague (1959-1986) and department head (1963-1969), and endows a graduate student scholarship.


Type "Mathematics: Cantrell Fund [Fund #75-51-GN375-757]" or the James C. Cantrell Fund. This fund was named in honor of Prof. James Cantrell, longtime colleague (1962-1993) and department head (1974-1983), and endows a distinguished lecture series each spring.


Type "Mathematics: Hollingsworth Fund  [Fund #40S5010]" for the J. G. Hollingsworth Undergraduate Scholarship Fund, named in honor of Prof. John Hollingsworth, longtime colleague (1967-2000), department head (1992-1995), and--for most of us--the model of commitment to undergraduate teaching. This fund endows a scholarship for undergraduate mathematics majors.
