head. Current course load includes AP Calculus (AB and BC), Number
Theory (elective for our best seniors), Multivariable Calculus,
and Differential Equations (the latter two taught as independent
studies to interested seniors). In addition, I have worked as a
mathematical consultant for several game shows, including "Greed,"
"The Weakest Link," and "Challenge of the Child Geniuses." Job satisfaction:The job has been fantastic. It is important to
make sure a school is a good match for you, however. The one I currently
teach at has a rather liberal, student-oriented philosophy, so it's
important for teachers there to be able to maintain good control
of their classes with a minimum of effort. It's also been a lot
of fun applying my knowledge to game shows, which I've loved ever
since I was a kid!
