I had been working as a sysadmin or programmer for over five years before I graduated.Suggestions for students:Find an intership and a mentor. Learn to sell yourself in an interview. And learn to code, but don't think CS classes are the only (or best) way to learn. Suggestions for improvement:I wish I could have done a special project for one of my upper division classes.
