Max-Min Problems

In this project you are to solve some max-min problems from the Edwards-Penney's Calculus, Early Transcendentals Version, 6 ed.,  using the tools from Maple. The following problems on pp. 161- 163: 33,44,47,52,53,54,58,61 are available. Your instructor will tell you which problems to work. For each problem be sure to do each of the following:

You should write up your solutions just as if you were writing a homework assignment to be turned in and graded. The only difference is that you will use the tools from Maple to do your calculations and plot your graphs.

The next section has Maple code for generating figures that go with each question. To generate a figure execute the first command in the next section followed by the command under the question number. Then go to the section with the question and execute the figure##  command

Academic Honesty Statement:

Place the following statement (by copying and pasting) at the end of your report and sign it in ink.  Your instructor will not grade your report unless this signed statement appears at the end of your report.

I understand that I may work with others if I give them credit in this statement.  I also understand that I am required to write my report--that to copy all or part of someone else's report or to allow someone else to copy all or part of my report constitutes plagiarism, which is a serious violation of academic honesty.

I worked with (replace this parenthetical remark with first and last names of those with whom you worked)  on this project.  I wrote my own report.  I did not copy any of this report from anyone else and I did not allow anyone else to copy any of this report.
