We have also had several graduate students recently completing their degrees:
Tin Kong received his Ph.D. in summer 2010 under the advisement of Dr. Qing Zhang. His dissertation was entitled, Stochastic Control and Optimization of Assets Trading.
Yang Liu received his Ph.D. in summer 2010 under the advisement of Dr. Ming Jun Lai. His dissertation was entitled, Non-convex Optimization for Linear System with Pregaussian Matrices and Recovery from Multiple Measurements.
David Prager received his Ph.D. in spring 2010 under the advisement of Dr. Qing Zhang. His dissertation was entitled, Valuation of Finite Maturity Stock Loans under Regime Switching and Mean Reverting Stock Models.
Rebecca Gaff received her M.A. in summer 2010 under the advisement of Dr. Andrew Sornborger. Her thesis was entitled, Modeling Seizures with a Conductance-Based Integrate-and-Fire Neuronal Network Model.
Laura Nunley received her M.A. in spring 2010 under the advisement of Dr. Pete Clark. Her thesis was entitled, Geometry of Numbers Approach to Small Solutions to the Extended Legendre Equation.
