Image: Mo Hendon was awarded the MAA Southeastern Section Distinguished Teaching Award in March 2015. Hendon has been a devoted instructor with our department for nearly 30 years, specializing in the "bridge courses" such as Introduction to Higher Math, Linear Algebra, and Sequences and Series. Those of you who have been lucky enough to take a course from Mo know that he challenges his students to think hard and develop a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics.
