AGANT RTG

The Algebraic Geometry, Algebra, and Number Theory (AGANT) research groups teamed together to get a $2 milliion National Science Foundation Research and Training Group (RTG) grant.  This grant will fund research and training  activities over the next five years at a variety of levels, from high school students to postdoctoral fellows.

Graduate Program

The Department of Mathematics of the University of Georgia is a vibrant mathematical community. The department has held an NSF VIGRE Grant and an NSF VIGRE II grant for last 12 years and currently holds a $2,000,000 NSF Research Training Group (RTG) grant (2014-2019). These grants provide additional financial support for graduate students, and stimulate research and teaching collaborations among the math faculty, postdoctoral associates, graduate students, and undergraduates.
