Make-up Policies WebCT Requirements |
As a general rule I do not accept late homework, nor do I give make-up quizzes or exams. Quizzes will be announced so there is no need for one to arbitrarily miss class on quiz days. If you have a legitimate emergency that prohibits you from being in class for an extended period of time, please contact the Office of Student Affairs. Student Affairs can verify your situation and will provide your professors with this verification. You are responsible for regularly checking the WebCT
version of our class for calendar, mail and discussion updates. I will post the topics I cover during each
class period and the corresponding homework assignments on the calendar. Be sure to click on the calendar date to
enlarge the window to view all my entries.
Please use the WebCT mail tool within our course to communicate with
me, and I will use the same to communicate with the class. I will post any quiz keys, test keys,
handouts, etc., in folders on home page.
I do have a way of tracking student use of my WebCT course, so please
make sure you follow my instructions and check the course for updates at
least 3 times per week. |

Academic Honesty |
All students are responsible for maintaining the highest
standards of honesty and integrity in every phase of their academic careers.
The penalties for academic dishonesty are severe and ignorance of UGA policy
is NOT an acceptable defense. Students should pay particular attention to
sections 5 and 7 of the academic honesty statement found at the link below.
