Attendance Policy:  Although there is no attendance policy, coming to class is highly recommended.  The most important way to succeed in a math course is by coming to class.

Calculators: While calculators are important tools in mathematics, they can also become a crutch for students. Therefore, calculators are not allowed on exams. However, as long as you keep the previous statement in mind, I encourage you use your calculator on your homework.

Academic Honesty: Cheating will not be tolerated in this course. Working in groups on the homework is encouraged, but remember that if you submit correct answers without understanding them you will not be prepared for the tests. See the UGA policy on academic honesty if you have questions concerning what is or is not cheating.

Disabilities: Please see me outside of class to discuss special requirements.
