Course Description

           

You will be handing in 6 lab reports—the first due on the fourth lab meeting and subsequent ones due every other meeting.

 

Report 1. Limits and Spreadsheets

 

Report 2. Home Mortgages

 

Report 3. Newton’s Method 

 

Report 4. Bungee Jump

 

Report 5. Implicit Plots and Derivatives

 

Report 6. Parametric Equations

 

The grace period for late lab reports is any time from the due date until the day before the next class meeting. After that, reports are penalized one letter grade per meeting.

 

 

 

Supplies

 

Students should have a computer disk for saving their work.

 

Buying a copy of Maple is strongly recommended.

 

Attendance

 

Attendance will be taken every class meeting.

 

Grading

 

The final grade in the course will be a straight average of the lab report grades.
