Bring to class daily.

Testing Schedule

 

Test 1 :          June 22nd over Chapter 1.

Test 2 :          July 6th over Chapter 2.

Test 3 :          July 19th over Chapter 3 and Section 4.1.

Test 4 :          July 29th over Chapter 8.

Final Exam :  August 5th from 8-11 a.m. (cumulative).

Quizzes

 

Quizzes will be announced and no makeup quizzes will be given. Any student missing class on the day of a quiz will receive a quiz grade of zero. I will drop at least one quiz grade at the end of the semester.

Grading Guidelines

 

Quizzes : 15%

Tests     : 50%

Final      : 25%

Project  : 10%.

The standard grading scale applies: 90-100=A, 80-89=B, 70-79=C, 60-69=D, below 60=F.

WebCT Requirement

 

You are require to check the WebCT version of our course daily for new mail, calendar entries, and what not. There is a tracking function within WebCT, so I will always know who is or is not complying with this policy.

Attendance

 

Mandatory! I have the right to withdraw you if you miss more than 4 class periods. This class meets daily, and it is in your best interest to attend.
