On the seventh absence, I have the option to withdraw you from the course with either a W or a WF (WF after midpoint). I will make exceptions only in emergency situations. The Office of Student Affairs must document all such emergencies before I will allow any relaxation of the attendance policy.

Miscellaneous:             As a rule, I do not give make-up quizzes and exams.

Academic Dishonesty Policy:

All students are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of honesty and      integrity in every phase of their academic careers. The penalties for academic dishonesty are severe, and ignorance is not an acceptable defense. Please read the Culture of Honesty disclosure found at http://www.uga.edu/ovpi/academic_honesty/culture_honesty.htm.

Additional Info:            You have access to practice tests by downloading the JExam software. There is a link at http://exams.uga.edu/~jmartin/JExamStudent/install/install.htm to download the software. You will only need to download it once. The first practice test covers the topics to be covered on Test 1.

You will have to sign up (on-line) for a session to take the tests at http://exams.uga.edu/~jmartin/login.html The sessions start promptly at the time stated. If you show up late, you will lose the time missed. When logging in to register for a test, you will be prompted for three pieces of information: your MyID, your password, and your SSN. Your MyID must be entered in lower case letters. You must have a photo ID when coming to take each test. All tests are given in either room #324 or #308 in Boyd (GSRC).
