You have to register for regular tests on the web 1-2 days before the correspondent test

Final Exam Reservations: July 26-30 On the web.  First come, first served

If your final exam score is higher than your lowest regular test score, then the lowest grade score will be replaced with the final exam score.

Note that the exact times for the tests are not indicated. You may go to the testing labs (Rooms 324, 308) any time on the day of the test between 9:00am and 10:00pm

Short quizzes (7.5%), given at random dates, and homework (7.5%) will determine your in-class grade (total 15 % of the final grade).

Homework assignments for each test are listed in http://www.math.uga.edu/1113/Syllabus.htm.

The dead line for returning homework is the day of the corresponding test. No late return for any reason

.

The worst one third of quizzes will be disregarded. Taking a quiz brings at least 5 points. If you do not take a quiz, you get zero for it. This grade won’t be disregarded as the worst one..

Your final grade for the course cannot be lower than your average test grades.  The homework and quiz grades can improve it but never put it down.

Attendance Policy

Attendance of classes is strongly recommended. However, the only control over the attendance is participation in quizzes.

Academic Honesty

All students are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of honesty and integrity in every phase of their academic careers. The penalties for academic dishonesty are severe and ignorance is not an acceptable defense.
