Late work will be accepted at
a penalty of 10 points per day late. If for some reason you know you will not
be in class on a certain day, you may drop the assignment in my mailbox in room
434A during business hours(I’m not sure what these
are. It’s probably open from around 9-5.). If the room is locked, you may slide
the assignment under my office door. Please use a post-it or some sort of tag
on the assignment with the words “Attention: R. Brice Math 2200L”
There is no strict attendance
policy; however, I would recommend attending all classes. I will provide all
necessary information during class and it’s your responsibility to make sure
you receive that information, whether by attending class or by some other more
creative method you may have discovered in your academic career. Also, we may
complete some projects together in class.
Academic Honesty is very
important to this university and it should be to all of us. The value of your
degree that you earn here is directly affected by each of us maintaining
honesty in our academic work. Please don’t do anything dumb like turning in
someone else’s work. Not only will you not learn the material, but by the
policy I must report you and I do not want to have to do that with any of you.
The University’s Academic Honesty Policy can be viewed at http://www.uga.edu/ovpi/academic_honesty/academic_honesty.htm.
Group Work
You may work in groups but
the final project you hand in must be your own.
Withdrawal Information
Math 2200L is a co-requisite
