Objectives of the
Course: This course will
help you to understand the concepts and methods in calculus that you are
studying in your calculus lecture course. You can solve equations, graph
functions, and simplify algebraic formulas very easily and fast and so on,
using Maple. Some of the topics of the lab may not be covered in your lecture
course. In addition, the timing of the topics that are covered in both courses
may not be coordinated.
Co-requisite: Math 2210L is a co-requisite for Math
2210. If you withdraw from Math 2210L, you must also withdraw from Math 2210.
Lab Manual: You can download MATH2210 Lab manuals
from the website:

Project Due Dates and Quizzes: Each
topic covers one or two weeks. Any deviations from the plan that follows will

you leave class a half-hour early or show up a half-hour late it will count as
an hour missed.
Academic Honesty: The usual
rules of academic honesty apply. You may (and I encourage) collaborate with
others in working your projects, but you must write your own reports and
list coworkers. You are required to conclude each report with a signed
copy of the Academic Honesty Statement from
http://www.uga.edu/ovpi/academic_honesty/culture_honesty.htm.
Without your signed copy, there
will be heavy penalty.
