Textbook: Edwards & Penney : Calculus with analytic geometry, 6th edition (2003)

Grades: There will be two 50 minutes in class Exams and a comprehensive Final Exam. Please keep in mind the exam dates! In addition there will be four 20-25 minutes Quizzes. Each Quiz will consist of two homework problems and worth 10-15 points.

If an exam is missed it will worth 0 points, unless a written explanation is given prior to the exam.

The maximum total points achieved is 250: In class Exams : 100

Quizzes : 50

Final Exam : 100

Homeworks: There will be a set of homework assignments for each week. These will not be graded, however each exam will contain two homework problems, and in general the problems are close to either the homework problems or to the examples discussed in class. At the beginning of each class there will be some time devoted to discuss homework problems.

You are welcome to come to the office hours if you have questions, and should come if you have troubles doing many of the homework assignments, quizzes etc.

Keep in mind that the last date of dropping the course is March 7^th.
