Office Hours:               MWF 2:30 – 3:30 and by appointment

 

Testing Labs:  Rooms 308 & 324, GSRC

                                    9am-10pm; No admittance after 10pm

 

Makeup Tests will be given only at the discretion of the instructor. Documentation is required. Refer to the course webpage for details concerning the content of the tests and other policies. YOU SHOULD CHECK THE CURRENT ANNOUNCEMENTS SECTION WEEKLY.

 

Quizzes:         Short quizzes will be given frequently covering the assigned reading and tutorial material. No makeup quizzes will be given; however, about 20% of the quiz grades will be dropped at the end of the semester.

 

Final Exam:     Cumulative, covering the entire course and all tutorials.

 

Grading:          Test 1-6:                                  10% each

                        Quizzes & Class:                   10% total

                        Online Homework:                    5%

                        Final Exam:                             25%

                               A       92-100
               A-      89-91
               B+      87-88
               B       82-86
               B-      79-81
               C+      77-78
               C       72-76
               C-      69-71
               D       60-68
               F       <60

 

Classroom Etiquette:              Students are expected to maintain a respectful and

professional attitude.

 

Attendance:                             Students missing 5 or more classes may be withdrawn by the instructor with a grade of WF.
