The topics to be covered are:
1) Flows on the line.
2) Bifurcations of one-dimensional flows.
3) Flows on the circle.
4) Linear systems of differential equations.
5) Analysis of the phase plane.
6) Limit cycles.
7) Bifurcations of two-dimensional flows.
8) Some topics in chaos.
Grading will be based on homeworks, a mid-term and a final exam.
