Annual Mathematics Major Fair

Dear Prospective Mathematics Major,

Congratulations on your intending to choose mathematics as your major at UGA (or as a minor, or as a
double major)! In order to help you with this very important decision, the mathematics department would like to invite you to our annual Math Major Fair.

* Ever wondered what you can do with a degree in mathematics?
* Want to meet in an informal setting math faculty and current math majors?
* Would like free pizza and refreshments?

Then please join us at the MATHEMATICS MAJOR FAIR (a Blue Card Event)

Wednesday, February 13, at 4:30-6:00,
Room 328 of Boyd Graduate Studies Building.

A short introduction to the mathematics major at UGA (5-10 minutes). Three 15-minutes talks on
some real life aspects of mathematics, by three current faculty members. Social gathering, networking
with faculty and mathematics majors, and refreshments (pizza will be served)
