Seminars

The VIGRE Seminar is designed to present talks from speakers at UGA and from other institutions which are accessible to graduate students and advanced undergraduates. Talks in the past have ranged from Aaron Abrams' talk "Can you title a square with an odd number of triangles?", Dan Margalit's "Introduction to moduli spaces", Bobbe Cooper's "Tips for surviving graduate school", to Scott Dougan's "Pattern Formation in Developmental Biology".

This year the seminar is organized by postdoctoral fellow Chris Drupieski. Please let him know if you have any suggestions for speakers for the seminar.

The VIGRE Graduate Student Seminar takes place Tuesdays from 2:00-3:00 pm, in the Boyd Graduate Research Center, Room 303.
