1. Some versions of Netscape give immediate and easy to follow instructions when the download process begins (i.e. suggests a directory in which to save the executable file and so forth). If this is the case, then follow said instructions and say "yes" to all options with one exception and "yes" to creating a shortcut for the tutorial when the process is complete.
2. Otherwise, save the file Is98.exe in a temporary directory (perhaps My Documents, your choice) and then run this file from the start menu run line. Answer "yes" to all options with one exception and "yes" to creating a shortcut for the tutorial.
3. The one exception: there is a question about an "error" in loading fonts for which you should just click "ignore."
4. Unfortunately in some places we haven't been able
to rename the original program as "MAT 1113 Tutorial" so when you actually
click on the shortcut the screen may say "MAT 116 Tutorial." Don't
worry, you're in the right place! MAT 116 was the quarter name for
our current semester version of MAT 1113.
