SURP and CURO at UGA

The UGA Graduate School has a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) for students from groups historically underrepresented in mathematics and science, including African Americans, Hispanics, and women. This is an eight week program, with a stipend of $3500. Students may apply for a SURP fellowship to participate in the Mathmatics Department VIGRE program. In this case, the five week VIGRE program will be supplemented with three additional weeks of research on the same topic. (A student may not receive both a SURP stipend and a VIGRE stipend.)
