Final exam: Thursday, May 1, 3:30-6:30 pm.
Book: Calculus, Early Transcendentals Version, 6th edition, Edwards and
Penney.
Syllabus: Most of Chapters 2, 3, and 4, as well as sections 5.1, 5.2, and possibly
8.3.
Homework and tests: There will be three tests, given in class. See the schedule below for dates. We'll be using WebWork for homework.
The grading will break down as follows:
Homework 30%
Tests 15% each
Final 25%
The final will be cumulative, but with emphasis on the material not
covered by the previous tests.
Algebra/trig review. For problem 5, I suggest
problems 1-4, 6-10, 14-21, 23 of this
worksheet.
