ResearchPublications, preprints, and slides from talksMy research is in algebraic geometry, specifically geometric invariant theory, conformal blocks, and moduli spaces of curves. Publications, preprints, and slides from talks Conformal blocks data Conference I was a co-organizer of the conference "Compact Moduli and Vector Bundles" at UGA, October 21-25, 2010. Conference website Computer work I use several computer packages including Sage, Magma, Macaulay 2, and Excel in my research and in my teaching. I gathered several materials I created in different contexts into a portfolio of computer work. |

Past courses at UGA Fall 2010: MATH 5003/7003 (Algebra and Problem Solving for Elementary Teachers) Fall 2010: Introductory VIGRE Research Group (IVRG) on "Polynomials and Symmetry" for junior and senior math majors. We are hunting for equations of some curves of small genus with large automorphism groups.
