I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia. I earned my Ph. D. in Mathematics in 2011 from Seoul National University, under the supervision of Young-Hoon Kiem. Before I went to the graduate school, I studied mathematics education in Seoul National University.

Research Interests

I am broadly interested in geometry, topology and combinatorics of algebraic varieties. My research is focused on (1) the birational geometry of moduli spaces of curves via geometric invariant theory and minimal model program, (2) geometric/numerical properties of conformal blocks divisors.
