I am a graduate student in mathematic department of university of Georgia. I plan to graduate in 2007; I am interested in Wavelets and solving PDE or ODE by wavelets.

Research Interests

1. Finding the prewavelets based numerical method to solve poisson equation, the boundary shape of the equation can be triangle or square or polygon. Under some special boundary conditions, there is no local supported prewavelet base.
2. Continue the above research direction by using type-2 triangulation method.
3. Finding the compacted supported wavelets in Sobolev space, by which we can solve the ODE much faster.
4. Finding Bivariate wavelet.
5. The other problem that interests me is error correction.
