For your final project, you will observe two precalculus (MATH 1113) classes and two calculus (MATH 2200) classes. One of the precalculus courses you observe must be taught by a first-time precalculus teacher, and one of the classes you observe must be taught by someone other than a graduate student or postdoc. You should observe two MATH 2200 lectures - recitations do not count. Also, all four classes you observe must be taught by different people.
You need to decide whom you'd like to observe and when, and then you need to ask him/her for permission to observe the class. Please ask at least one week in advance. Click here for the current teaching schedule.
Be sure to fill out the teaching observation report while you are observing the lecture.
