I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia.
I have been around since the Fall of 2006. Before coming to the United States, I earned a Master's degree and a High School Teacher's Diploma from the University of Yaounde I in Cameroon and spent a year in a postgraduate program at the Abdus Salam ICTP in Italy.

I am mostly interested in the applications of Mathematics and problem solving is my passion.  Currently, I am working on Mathematical Image Processing under the supervision of Professor Ming-Jun Lai my doctoral studies advisor.

From 2007 to 2008, I worked on Mathematical Ecology and published two papers; my advisor then was Dr. Caner Kazanci.

For my master's degree, I studied Orthogonal Polynomials and Specials Functions. I  wrote two theses on the topic; these are being used by my advisor as lecture notes at the Ecole Normale Superieure of Yaounde. My master's degree advisor is Dr. Mama Foupouagnigni.

I have been teaching at least one class per year since Fall 2007. This semester, I am teaching a section of calculus I for Science and Engineering. If you are one of my students, please click here and you will be taken to the course webpage in ELC.

Between 2003 and 2005, I taught mathematics in High Schools in Cameroon. I am a graduate of the Ecole Normale Superieure of Yaounde; one of now several colleges of education in Cameroon.
