Class Policies
- All students are responsible for maintaining the highest
standards of
honesty and integrity in every phase of their academic careers. The
penalties for academic dishonesty are severe and ignorance is not an
acceptable defense.
The
UGA Academic Honesty Policy
will be followed closely.
- Five missed classes may result in a
withdrawal with a WF. There will be no make-ups for missed
quizzes.
Homework and Quizzes
Homework will not be assigned, students can work on tutorial and do
recommended problems from the textbook. Several announced quizzes
will be given in class and several take-home quizzes will be
assigned. Quizzes will be graded on the scale out of 10. Two
lowest quiz grades will be dropped to provide a cushion for sick
days, broken car days, family emergencies etc.
Make-up Policy
No make-up for quizzes. Tests can be maked up with
permission in case of an excused and officially verified reason
