Welcome to Niles's webpage!

I am a postdoc in algebraic topology at the University of Georgia.

This year I am an organizer for the VIGRE Graduate Seminar.

Research:

My research studies algebraic tools in modern categorical contexts, with a view toward topological applications. My work started with Morita theory, and I am now continuing with Picard and Brauer groups. As a separate project, Justin Noel and I have begun joint work using computer calculations to study H-infinity structure on the Brown-Peterson spectrum.

Teaching:

This semester I am teaching Math 2250.

Personal:

Information about my other interests is available in the personal pictures & projects section.
